What type of food do you serve?

We have an exciting menu mixing old Italian classics with amazing local products – plus a few fun twists from the kitchen! Our Italian roots run deep, from our seven-layer lasagna to the pizza a taglio (by the slice) made with local flour! Everything we do is 100% fresh and homemade daily. Our wine bar features over 50 curated wines to choose from, as well as rotating local beers on tap!

Is the restaurant fully open?

Locale Neighborhood Italian is fully open and ready to serve you our delicious family recipes! Come enjoy our heated patio, spacious indoor dining area and wine bar! When you’re done, unwind with a fun game of Bocce outside on our patio.

What are your hours?

Locale is open from 11:30am – 10:00pm Tuesday – Sunday. We are closed Mondays to recharge and spend time with our families and loved ones!

When does your bakery open?

We’re so excited to announce that Locale’s Bakery will be opening in January 2021! Want to be part of the event? Make sure to follow our Instagram or Facebook for the official opening. As a local Tucson bakery we are proud to support our local grain growers! 

Where is this located?

Locale Neighborhood Italian is located at 60 N. Alvernon, Tucson AZ 85711. Click Here for directions. Our historic, farmhouse inspired restaurant is in central Tucson, just north of the intersection of Broadway and Alvernon Way. We are a stone’s throw away from Reid Park Zoo, Randolph Park and two eighteen hole golf courses. El Con Shopping Center, three major hotels and the Consulate of Mexico are also close by!

Is there parking nearby?

Yes! We have plenty of parking available for you in the front, side, and back of the restaurant. There is also ample handicap accessible parking throughout the parking lot. We are located at 60 N. Alvernon, Tucson AZ 8571 just north of Alvernon and Broadway. Click Here to get directions!  

Is this restaurant/patio dog friendly?

Absolutely! All dogs, dogos, woof woofs, and four legged friends are all welcome at Locale! We just ask that your furry companions stay on the patio unless they are a service animal. Grazie!

Are you handicap accessible? To wheelchairs too?

Yes, absolutely! Locale’s partio, dining room, wine bar, bakery and restrooms are all handicap accessible. We wouldn’t have it any other way!

Do you take reservations over the phone?

At this time we are not accepting reservations. The majority of our tables are kept for walk-ins all day long for up to 8 people. If the restaurant is full when you arrive, you can put your name on the waiting list and we will text you when your table is ready.

I would like to place a large order with the restaurant and/or bakery. How much time in advance do you need?

We would love to help you with that! Please call us to tell us what you are interested in and we will let you know! Ususally we need 24 hours to fulfill large orders.  Many of our dishes are available in easy to warm up family size portions, including our desserts like tiramisu!

I just ordered take out from Locale and there’s a mistake in my order. Can you fix it?

Of course!! We are so sorry to hear that something is wrong with your order. We will absolutely take care of that for you! Please call us (520)398-7553 to speak with a manager or come back in to restaurant – we’ll be more than happy to help!

How Can I pay?

Do you have vegetarian, vegan, gluten free options?

Yes! Some of our delicious family recipes can be prepared as vegetarian, vegan or gluten free. These items are labeled on our menu but please keep in mind that dishes may possibly contain trace amounts of allergens and/or gluten.

Do you have a kids menu?

Congratulations! We’re honored to share a big celebration with you and your loved ones! We would be happy to sing happy birthday and supply you with some super cute birthday candles on your dessert if you’re celebrating a birthday! If you have a surprise you’d like us to deliver to the table just let your server or hostess know beforehand! And sorry friends, but no outside food or beverages!

Is there a corkage fee?

Thank you for asking! As of right now we are not able to accommodate any outside food or beverages. Our wine shop, however, would love to help you select the perfect bottle. We’ve worked tirelessly with our local distributors to select 50 of the best wines from all over the world for you to sample! We also feature a rotating selection of delicious local beers on tap!

Is this a good place for date nights?

You bet!! Our historic building is beautifully decorated and our ambience is laid back and welcoming, yet sophisticated and enchanting like the Italian Riviera. Our wait staff will take care of your every need as you enjoy a cocktail outside on our spacious patio or dine inside at one of our beautiful tables. Come for lunch and sit in the shade of one of our palm trees or spend a romantic evening under the stars while you share a delicious meal with that special person in your life!

Are you open for indoor dining? – Missing Covid Link

Yes, absolutely! Our beautiful and historic building has ample room to seat you! All of our tables are spaced at least six feet apart and are vigorously sanitized after each guest. Is your patio open for outdoor dining? – Covid link missing

Yes, absolutely! Our beautiful, historic property has a stunning outdoor patio with amply spaced tables and chairs where you can enjoy your meal. Take shade under our beautiful olive and palm trees and have fun playing bocce on one of our two regulation sized courts! Do you have outdoor heaters?

Yes, absolutely! We know how cold the nights can get here in the Old Pueblo so we have ample heaters on the patio to keep you warm under the beautiful desert sky! 

Do you have outdoor umbrellas?

Yes, absolutely! We have umbrellas tableside as well as beautiful trees throughout the property that provide wonderful shade at different times throughout the day. We have the perfect mix of shade and sunshine for you to enjoy!

Do you have big screen TV’s showing sports games?

We currently have one flat screen TV at the bar which streams University of Arizona games along with other high profile match ups during the week.

Do you have outdoor games?

Yes we do! We have two beautiful bocce courts for you to play on while you enjoy your drinks and our delicious family recipes!

What covid-safe precautions are you taking? (Table separation, max. Capacity, masks required, cleaning/sanitation, hours of operation, max people to party, etc.)

Keeping our staff and guests safe is our number one priority. We are strictly following CDC, OSHA and AZ Health Department guidelines. Indoor dining and patio tables are separated six feet apart and we are not accepting large private parties at this time. Masks are required by our patrons when not seated and by our team members at all times. We diligently clean and disinfect all surfaces after use for the health and safety for all! 

Do your wait staff wear masks?

Our entire team (employees, wait staff, and management) at Locale wear masks to help prevent the spread of covid19. We want to do our part to support Tucson through these challenging times. Please see our covid-safe precautions for more details.

Do you offer military discount?

Yes we  offer a 10% discount to all active service members with valid ID. Thank you for your service!!

I see gluten free options on your menu but do you prepare them in separate containers? Do you have a separate gluten free fryer?

Yes we use separate containers for our gluten free items. We do not have separate gluten free fryers.

What Are Your Prices?

Pasta dishes come single-serve from $13 to $17 or family style big enough for, well, a family. Featured entrees ($16-$32) include a grilled ribeye, salmon, cioppino, chicken and grilled tuna, with pizzas, sandwiches and salads rounding out the menu.
